I want to take a lesson. What do I need?

You should plan to ride in long pants or breeches, boots or riding shoes with a heel and a safety riding helmet or other equestrian approved safety headgear.

Your horse does NOT need side saddle experience.

You will be required to sign a waiver before riding.

You must have proof of a current, negative Coggins for the horse you bring and it must be with you upon arrival at Fairwinds stable.

Bring your side saddle if you have one. There may be a saddle available to fit you & your horse for loan, but we cannot guarantee fit. Horses will not be ridden in ill-fitting or dangerous saddles. We reserve the right of judgement.

Can I come watch?

Yes! Auditing is $25.00 for ISSO members and $ 50.00 for non-members*
