Mike Flemmer rode TBS Gem's Song, a registered Arabian gelding at the 2006 Equine Affair as part of a clinic and demonstration on side saddle. Mike re-creates an Indian War Officer returned home to his Montana cattle ranch with wounds that are incompatible with riding astride. He continues to work his cattle ranch from a side saddle.

The saddle he rides in a Great West saddle built circa 1902 or 1903.

Mike is a Level I Certified Instructor with ISSO.

The other gentleman on the ground in some of these pictures is Denny Chapman, another man who does show and trick riding as well as side saddle riding and instruction.
