Gabriella Hirschprung from Israel had an opportunity to travel to Pittern Hill Stables for riding lessons with Roger Philpot. She has graciously shared some photos from her trip with us. Good job, Gabi!

 

Just look at all those side saddles!

The Tack Room at Pittern Hill, loaded with lovely side saddles. Pittern Hill is a riding school that specializes in side saddle. Located in Kineton, England, it is the farm Roger Philpot calls home.

Royal Mews or row of stables

Upon her arrival in Londona, prior to taking the train to Pittern Hill, she took a tour of the Royal Mews.

Warwick Castle was part of her tour while staying in the UK. Warwick Castle tour included viewing a wax figure of "Daisy" Francis Eveyln Daisy Greville, the Countess of Warwick in full 1895 side saddle riding habit.

We'd like to thank Gabi for sharing her adventures with our members and non-members alike. Truly she is the very spirit of promoting side saddle.
