The International Side Saddle Organization makes its library available to those wishing to do research concerning sidesaddles, riding aside, and sidesaddle attire.

Most of the over 500 articles, books, and artwork are available for inter-library loan. Have your local library contact ISSO for information on the availablity of our resources. Follow the links for the lists of available titles.

Libraries may request to borrow items from the ISSO collection by fax, email, or regular mail (see addresses listed above). Any inter-library loan form may be used. There is no charge for the loan, but there will be a charge for postage/shipping. Some items also may need to be insured.

Loaned materials may be specified by ISSO as available for loan to the patron (per usual loan procedures), or used in-house for reference only. The value or condition of an item will be used to determine its availability for loan or reference-only use.

Photocopies of items will be made as time allows. Our staff is all volunteer, with limited working hours. Photocopies are $.10 per page, with postage/shipping additional. Photocopies can be requested through a local library via the same method as inter-library loans.
