A member may be suspended or terminated when
b. In the Executive Directors and /or Board of Directors judgement and after discussion with the board that member has taken some form of
action detrimental to the ISSO. IF a member is suspended or terminated under such circumstances, he/she will be prohibited from
taking part in any and all ISSO recognized functions for the entire term of her suspension or in the case of termination, for life. The length of suspension shall be determined by the Board and the Executive Director. The member shall have the opportunity to present his/her case to said board before any penalties are imposed.

Show rating system-
8. All side saddle shows that have an ISSO certified Judge unless special exemption is made by the Executive Director and/ or Board. Such exemption must be applied for by the show comittee. These shows shall be awarded A/ISSO level points. This is to fulfill ISSO’s
philosophy to promote the side saddle in competition.
9. C-rated points shall be awarded to shows that are recognized by regional organizations such as county organizations.
10. Classes that have more then ten horses will be awarde 5 bonus points per ten horses. Ex. class with 22 horses will be awarded 10 extra points. Class with 42 horses will awarded 20 extra points. These “bonus” points will be added to the point system that is already in effect.
11. Classes with only one participant will be awarded mounted demonstration points of 25points per class.

In keeping with ISSO’s philosophy to promote and educate about the side saddle mounted attendance at a clinic given by an ISSO certified Judge Instructor and ISSO approved will be awarded points. The clinic must be approved one month in advance. Participants will earn 50 points to be put in the miscellaneous category. Auditors will be awarded 25 points. The participant must spend at least one hour actively participating in the clinic.
