For your consideration is a lovely Nardi habit habit from the teens. Black heather cavalry twill wool with cotton sateen lining in the jacket, cotton twill in the apron. This is a wonderful habit from the golden era of side saddle riding. Medium weight wool appropriate for chilly fall hunting. Very conservative color and an elegant cut. $ 300.
The jacket has a single vent rear, plain front with four buttons, two pockets in front and a boutonniere hole in the lapel. It has hunt buttons labeled PH and retains the lady's hunt colors on the collar - pristine black velvet. Bust 39.5", Waist 32.5", bottom of collar to hem 27", Sleeves 24".
Apron Waist 30", Waist to knee, 17", Left side length 29.5". The apron is a "step in" with a short wrap under the left leg to give an elegant look and no glimpses of the leg. The waist is closed with two hooks and 4 buttons. There is a small hidden pocket by the waist closure. The apron buttons around the right thigh and has a toe loop at the hem. The edges and the knee area are reinfored with heavy cotton twill as well as at the hem line. The hem is heavy and hangs very nicely.
