For your consideration is a lovely 1934 Busvine 3 piece blue habit. This is a wonderful habit from the golden era of side saddle riding. Medium weight wool appropriate for chilly fall hunting. Very conservative color and an elegant cut.
The jacket has a double vent rear and a cut away front. Bust 37", Waist 34", sleeves 25.5", colar to hem 26.5". The jacket has been relined in the not too distant past, so the Busvine tag in the jacket is missing.
Apron Waist 28", Waist to knee, 17", Left side length 28". Knee dart has a patch made of the original wool material - a well done old repair. The knee pocket has been relined in the past. It would benefit from new elastic for your right foot. This is the elegant, trim line that Busvine is so well know for! The apron is clearly marked with the maker (Busvine), the original owners' name and the date (December 31, 1934).
To finish the habit, a canary Caldene Vest - chest measures 37".
