Bridleways (Owen style) side saddle built in the 1980's by the last master saddler from the Champion & Wilton saddlery, Mr. Les Coker. It is built on an Aulton & Butler side saddle tree that is reinforced for jumping.
The saddle has a Doeskin seat & pommels and linen & serge panels in excellent condition. It has a generous 21.5" X 13.5" seat.
The saddle come complete for the show ring less the girth - it comes with the chamois-padded balance girth, original Owen fitting on the stirrup leather and egg eye side saddle stirrup iron. It also has the traditional leather trimmed canvas cover. Wide tree with a generous spread in the points. Very, very nice saddle for the discriminating show ring.
It's hard to find a traditional saddle built by one of the "old name" saddlers that is in such nice condition!
Asking $3,500.
