The Side Saddlery is pleased to offer a Brown Steele Western Pleasure sidesaddle - 22" long seat measured from the front of the upright pommel to the rear of the seat. The seat measures 16" wide. The saddle has square skirts with acorn and oak leaf border tooling, silver plated corner plates and conchos.
The tree is a wide fit, built on Steele's western bars. This allows a nice, stable fit on broader, stock type horses, Arabs, Morgans, Fresians, etc. This saddle is ready to take to any show - just add your girths and saddle pad!
This saddle has wonderfuly supple brown leather with brown suede on the seat and pommels. The tree has the ORIGINAL POMMEL SET from before the fire at the Steele factory, allowing a very square, comfortable seat. The saddle uses a silver plate clad stirrup and recently had the balance strap replaced. The bars are covered with synthetic shearling.
