Beautiful show quality Champion & Wilton side saddle.

Champion & WIlton, one of the top Old Name English side saddles in a near-perfect show condition. This model was a well built saddle intended for work on the flat and over fences.

This side saddle has a peach doeskin seat and pommels and new linen over serge panels recently replaced by The Side Saddlery. The seat is 21 inches long by a generous 13 inches wide. The pommels are the wide pommels that are so sought after for jumping in the more "modern" side saddles from the 1930's and 1940's..

The saddle is a wide fit with 9" between the D rings for the breast collar (measured to the tree) with a medium flair, measuring 16" from point to point. It is reinforced for jumping and rides quite nicely. This is a VERY nice saddle in great condition for the serious show rider or hunter!

It has D rings for your breast collar and your sandwich case on the offside. The billets are in good condition. The offside flap is narrow to show off your horse's profile.

The saddle has the C&W breakaway assembly. It comes with a stirrup leather with the C&W fitting, a vintage egg eye stirrup, vintage balance girth and a used trifold girth.
