OFFSIDE Champion & Wilton side saddle!

This is a an offside Champion & Wilton - extremely hard to find and in superb condition. This saddle is reinforced to hunt and jump or to take you into the show ring! The saddle was recently imported from England and (sadly) did not fit the lady's horse as it was wider than she expected.

The saddle measures 21.5" from the front of the fixed head to the rear of the seat and a generous 13" wide. The saddle measures 8" between the D rings and 17" from point to point. The points have a generous curve to them midway down, allowing the saddle to fit a horse with a wide or bunchy shoulder and wider sides.

The doeskin and leather has been professionally cleaned and conditioned. The linen is in excellent condition with whitener on the visible borders. The serge has been replaced by Laura Dempsey, UK Master side saddler.

The saddle has the Champion & Wilton breakaway assembly and the correct fitting on the stirrup leather. The saddle comes with the C&W fitting on the correct side saddle leather and a modern egg eye stirrup.
