Beautiful Martin & Martin Side Saddle reinforced for jumping & hunting. This saddle measures 23" long through the seat measured from the front of the fixed pommel to the rear of the seat. The seat measures a generous 13" wide. The tree measures 8" between the breast collar D rings (to the actual tree) and 17.5" between the points, making it a medium-wide to wide fit.
This saddle has serge panels, and a two position leaping head to allow you to really get forward over fences or to keep a lovely long leg on the flat. Both pommels are doeskin lined for added grip!
The saddle has a bulls-eye breakaway stirrup assembly with the correct fitting, and a standard leather. D rings are present for a breast collar (not included with the saddle).
The saddle is still a light leather and nearly pristine with the exception of a couple of flea bites on the serge. The leather could use some conditioner throughout and the price reflects the minimal work the new owner would need to put into it. Look at the beutiful lines of a hunting Martin & Martin - it looks like it did when it came out of the hands of the saddle maker!
