| This is beautiful catalog saddle that has been recently restored complete with an added balance strap and new balance girth. The near side, seat, safe and pommels are beautifully stitched doeskin. The stirrup leather is new and comes with both a steel english stirrup and a lady's western tapadero stirrup. The off side has a purse hook. The bars have been recovered in new leather, true to the original saddle. Western rigged with stainless steel D rings. Add your western billet strap, latigo, and correct length girth and you are set to ride! In addition, the seat and pommels have a custom-made seat cover made of dark brown merino fleece to protect the beautiful doeskin when you are schooling. The seat measures 17 1/2" from the fixed pommel to the rear of the doeskin of the seat, 19" to the end of the seat. The seat measures 16" wide. The tree is medium narrow, measuring 4 1/2" at the top of the bars and 6 1/2" at the bottom of the bars in the front of the gullet. A very nice period saddle for a youth or shorter lady. $ 800 |  |
