Champion & Wilton English Side Saddle.
A nice Old Name English (ONE) saddle with D rings to attach your sandwich case and breast collar. The panels extend out under the safe to provide padding between your calf and the horse's shoulder. Reinforced for jumping!
The saddle comes complete with a C&W breakaway assembly, stirrup leather, and stirrup that releases easily. The billets and seat webbing are sound. The fixed head (upper pommel) is sound with no movement and no signs of damage. The fixed head is swept forward allowing the rider to fold and get frward over bigger fences.
The leaping head is easily removed and screws into position on reverse threads - settling into a solid, correct position. Sewn-in doeskin seat and pigskin pommels. Nice condition on the top! The billets are sound and the balance strap is in very good condition. D rings present to carry a sandwich case.
The convenience feature (tab) that holds the off side flap to the overgirth has new elastic. The leather panels have been completely relined by The Side Saddlery's Master Saddler.
The seat measures 22" in length from the front of the upright pommel to the rear of the seat, 21" to the edge of the doeskin. The seat measures 13" in width, 12" on the doeskin. This is a WIDE tree with a wide spread between open points.
