Champion & Wilton - VERY wide saddle (size 3+ tree) on a hard-to-find Wykham pad. This is one of the widest saddles I've seen, intended for a very heavy hunter or a larger draft or draft cross!
The seat measures 21 1/2" from the fixed head to the cantle, 17" from the cutback to the cantle. The seat's width is 13 1/4", The gullet between the D rings for the breast collar measures 12", and it measures 20" between the short and long points.
Originally converted to the Wykham pad by Champion and Wilton. New 1" thick Wykham pad using the original pad's pockets with the Champion & Wilton stamps in the leather. A new overgirth. Medium pommels with some wear at the ends - otherwise in very nice condition. The saddle comes with the original canvas cover made for it by Champion & Wilton. The saddle lacks fittings, but these maybe purchased from The Side Saddlery if required.
