Mayhew Lisadell Side Saddle
Mayhew Lisadell Side Saddle - The "workhorse" of the Old Name English side saddles.
This is a nice Mayhew Lisadell side saddle with a pigskin seat, pigskin pommels and linen panels. The seat is 22 inches long by a generous 14 inches wide. The pommels are the wide "improved group" pommels that Mayhew is so well known for. The panels were recently adjusted by Roger Philpot. The leather was professionally cleaned and reconditioned.
The saddle is a good medium fit with a 6.25 inch gullet measured to the actual tree at the level of the D rings. It has D rings for your breast collar and a kercheif picket on the offside. The overgirth buckles - it does not have a convenience tab. It is reinforced for jumping and rides quite nicely.
