We would like to Congratulate ISSO's very own Marybeth Walker on her Royal Windsor Autumn Virtual Show winnings. She proudly represented the US in a very competitive side saddle division and costume class ending up placing third overall and Best Costume of the class on Sunday, September 27th, 2020. In fact, she was the only US rider to make the top 10 in the division.
Marybeth said had to complete an extensive application sheet for the show along with the photo that was to be judged. She credits Bethje's past performance record for helping her to place as high as she did as the judges, Nigel Hollings and Anne Leaver, mentioned her Sports Predicate dressage accomplishment during the live judging. After her win, Marybeth was contacted by Recollections, where she sources many of her habits, on her experience with the show and asking about side saddle in general.
