Six years ago my dear friend Lizzie Elizabeth Brinkley Sponseller gave this exquisite little figurine to me. It was her grandmother's and she wanted me to have it. Lizzie loved when I showed her horses aside, especially her sister's Soozi Gowl horse Westmoreland who won at Devon in 1986. I cherish this figurine for what it is and because my sweet thoughtful friend gave it to me. It sits on the window sill above my kitchen sink so I see it and think of Lizzie every day.
